Software Engineer Intern @OrbexLabs

• Build 30+ Django REST API endpoints for view pages to create, search and retrieve documents from PostgreSQL

• Design web page layouts and implemented user-friendly React components and Bootstrap

• Develop a GPT-based virtual assistant to aid users in managing documents and leverage fastSAM with FastAPI for efficient form field detection from user interactions.

• Deploy the web application in a containerized Docker environment on Google Cloud Run

October 2023-Present

Software Developer and Researcher @The RARE Lab USF

• Lead a research to utilize tabletop social robot Misty integrated with Ollama for storytelling and engineer algorithms for real-time analysis of user input and environmental cues, enabling robot’s dynamic emotion expression

• Successfully deployed containerized Ollama solution on GAIVI cloud service, resulting in 35% improvement in processing speed and latency.

• Designed and prototyped 10+ features of robots using Unity and Blender for improved human-robot interaction and navigation for a research published at HRI and IEEE conference.

November 2023-Present

Web Developer Chair @USF BMES

• Spearheaded the development and maintenance of the BMES website, implementing responsive design and enhancing user experience.

• Host 3 workshops to 50+ attendees about Python in programming and data analysis, fostering interdisciplinarity

• Mentor 5+ students in Computer Science in shadowing and mentorsip program by providing support, and insights to help them navigate their academic and professional journeys
